The Belgian National Lottery is gradually modernising its core systems in a multi-phased approach, including the lottery system, the network for all points of sale, and the lottery terminal systems. The National Lottery is responsible for the content, strategic objectives, and key decisions, while adesso provides support in programme management. Since July 2025, the IT service provider’s experts have been contributing their methodological, organisational, and industry-specific experience.

In doing so, the lottery company defines the technical requirements, prioritises measures, and ensures the close integration of technology, organisation, and business strategy.
A highly qualified, international adesso team with many years of experience in the lottery industry is behind ensuring the success of the project. To do this, they are implementing quality and governance mechanisms via programme management and through the Belgian National Lottery’s Project Management Office (PMO).
